Our Team

After 30 years of collective experience working with seniors, we saw hundreds of seniors and their families navigate the overwhelming task of moving into senior communities.
Aging with Grace was developed after realizing how beneficial it would be for families to have one consultant representing them through the moving process.

Aging with Grace services were developed to cater to the senior and their busy families, ensuring they are informed and comfortable during the daunting task of moving to a new home. Aging with Grace strives for our seniors to age with elegance, refinement, dignity, and poise. Our Senior Living Specialist educate and guide you through one of the most challenging, and yet rewarding, phases of life.

Kayla BAHAM

Owner, Certified Dementia Practitioner, Placement Specialist, Senior Living Consultant, Certified Senior Living Advisor
After a career in the hospitality and service industry, Kayla moved to her hometown of Lake Charles, LA and found herself in the often-misunderstood world of Senior Living. She has helped operate, design, and consult many organizations to improve how seniors experience their retirement.

"Although senior living has evolved substantially, there are still countless reasons to not move as we age. Time and time again I watched seniors, and their families, work through all the obstacles to move their loved one to a new home. The process was overwhelming for many, however they found peace of mind and the opportunity to thrive again when it was complete. That is the driving force behind Aging with Grace. By simplifying the process, we can offer more aging adults a new lease on life."

Kayla has served on the local Alzheimer's Association's advisory board and walk committee, and raised over $40,000 in donations. She became a Certified Dementia Practitioner to specialize in servicing seniors with dementia, as that move can be particularly challenging without the right specialist on your side.

Outside of Kayla's work with seniors, she spends most of her time with her husband and daughter, Emma Grace. Together they enjoy cooking, traveling, and entertaining. Her and her husband are passionate about creating a world where quality time is priority, and where their daughter will never be overwhelmed with their aging process.
